International Student Fees 2025
2025 Registration Fee: NZ$650.00
A registration fee is to be paid with all applications by the students enrolling for the first time. 50% discount for additional siblings.
Annual Tuition Fee:
NZ$18,000.00 for 1 year (February-December)
NZ$14,000.00 for 3 terms
NZ$10,000 for 2 terms
NZ$6,000 for 1 term
Homestay:
NZ$370.00 per week
NZ$420.00 per week for student with special dietary requirements
Please note students are to depart New Zealand, no later than 1 week after tuition ends.
The College administers our quality Homestay programme. To satisfy student visa requirements, payment is required in advance. Homestays provide a furnished room per student, all meals, laundry, plus care and guidance.
Relocation Fee: NZ$400.00 - If a student requires a change of homestay.
Administration Fee: - NZ$1,800.00 full year, NZ$450.00 per term
Administration, Pastoral Care, Resources, Student Services fee and Residential Caregivers (Homestay & DCG) Placement and monitoring.
Visa Renewal: NZ$500.00*
Processing Fee: NZ$200.00 (If a student has left and requires duplicate copies of documentation)
Expenses:
NZ$2,500.00 per year (February-December)
NZ$1,500.00 for two terms or less.
This payment is kept in an account for the student to cover uniform, examinations, stationery and other expenses, including International Department trips, other school trips, sports affiliation fees etc. The unused balance, if any, is refunded when the student completes his schooling at Tauranga Boys' College. Occasionally a ‘top-up’ is required to cover extra school-related expenses incurred by the student. A statement of expenditure can be issued at any time.

Insurance 1 Year – Approximately: NZ$600.00* Comprehensive Health, Personal & Travel Policy (12 months)
Insurance is compulsory for International Students – we recommend Unicare: www.uni-care.org You can purchase through us or in your home country. If purchasing your own insurance, we must have an English copy of the policy.
